Colleton County Information Technology Director charged with wiretapping

Jeffrey Colton Hill, son of Colleton County Clerk of Court, Becky Hill, has been charged with wiretapping. Hill was charged on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division. Hill’s mother, Becky Hill has been accused of jury tampering in the Alex Murdaugh murder trial.

Mr. Hill allegedly intercepted communication between the victims and abused his position while serving as Information Technology Director.

Hill is considered innocent until proven guilty by our criminal justice system.
