The $8 Million Memory Loss
Do you think it is incredibly paradoxical that Simon and Shyster have donated $8 million for the memoirs of Hillary Clinton? I’m not referring to the fact that she probably won’t write a single line of text for the book. I’m surprised that no one has picked up on this part of the farce. Remember when she gave a deposition via videotape during the Whitewater debacle? And do you remember when her failed Health Care renovation fell flat in her lap? And do you remember how she blamed the VRWC for her hubby’s problems? Do you remember when she said she was unaware of his meandering? Well, if you can recall any of this, can you not see how foolish it is to pay this huge sum of money to a lady who says she will “tell it all” when it is common knowledge that in a court of law she failed to remember anything? What will she write about if she has no recollection of any of the dirty deeds that went on? She will not admit to even one tiny little flashback. So, what will her memoirs include? After all, her most famous lines, while sworn under oath were: “I have no recollection of that”; “I have no memory of that”; and “I wasn’t a party to that”. The only thing juicy about that is what Hillary feels when she takes the money and runs!
Can you imagine what the book will reveal? Especially knowing that 1)Hillary won’t write a word of it; 2)She can’t recall anything; 3)Whatever she says will probably be a lie; and 4)Who will make this stuff up? For the life of me, I can’t understand all the excitement swelling around this project. It will “take a village of idiots” to buy this book, and another one to believe anything in it. Isn’t it suspicious how her memory will suddenly reappear, as she dictates to someone all the tidbits of the past eight years? I can’t understand why nobody has jumped all over this theory regarding her “tell-all” tale. Most of America saw her on nationwide TV claim this vast conspiracy against poor old Bill. And according to Bill, they woke up one morning and saw the headlines in the paper. Yea right! If you believe that, I have a book deal for you for half the price Hillary was paid.
How can anyone, knowing how Hillary Clinton has manipulated those around her all these years, lied, pretended, and covered up who knows what, from scandal to scandal, practiced the dirty politics of her husband, whose entire political career is based on lies, expect anyone to take anything she says seriously. I mean, this is the woman who was so oblivious to all that was going on, yet, she claims, on one hand, to have been involved in a lot of policy-making, while on the other hand, she claimed that she and Bill haven’t discussed certain political situations. What are we to believe?
How many times has she claimed “spousal privilege” so that she wouldn’t have to testify regarding the Whitewater scandal? Give me a break, please. And now she wants us to believe she’s about to spill her guts? I suppose she would if her memory would serve her better. Regarding her book, I could give a rat’s patoot, but it will be interesting to see her as a senator. She’s not accustomed to having to defend herself. There have always been those around who would shield her and insulate her from the real world of news and politics. Once she takes this oath, she will be just another ruthless player. We’ll see how her memory serves her then. Will one of the smartest people in the world survive? It’s according to what spin you believe. As for me, I think she’s way over her head.
