Cleveland County School board hears the truth – doesn’t like the taste of it
There were 5 speakers at the Cleveland County School Board meeting Monday evening. Below is the audio portion of those who spoke during the Public Participation. As always, the board did not even respond or acknowledge the bullying situation.
Soon, there will be another expose in regard to their hiding and non-responses to these issues. Not only are they ignoring public records requests, but they are also breaking a statute mandated by the State of North Carolina with those requests. The board nor the school officials have a right to even ask who is requesting the records, why they’re requesting them, and the residential address of those seeking the records. The state says that there are no requirements as such and that even non-residents are allowed to seek these records, as they are Public Records.
