In this gaming project, which is under the umbrella of the Catawba Indian Nation, there are several corporations that are linked in various ways that make the whole puzzle harder to put together. We can see several tracts of properties owned by several different corporations and then managed by (according to paperwork) a common interest to the other corporations, things get a little dicier.

The Kings Mountain Equipment Supply, LLC is the company that supplies gambling machines to the casino.
There are shareholders in this company that have been reported as former elected officials from North and South Carolina, former elected officials, and possibly some national figures as well.

Former Cleveland County manager David Dear held a direct stake in Kings Mountain Equipment Supply in 2020, according to the member schedule. Former Cleveland County commissioner Eddie Holbrook was not named as a shareholder. But Moose & Putter Butter LLC, was. Holbrook and his wife signed articles of organization for that limited liability company in 2015. Millie Holbrook was later named registered agent for the LLC, whose name was changed to Moose Putter Butter, according to opencorporates.
